Storyhunter does not supply general liability insurance for projects. If you feel that this is something that you need for a specific project then we advise that you discuss it with your editor and, if they agree, to add it as an expense for the project.

Furthermore, equipment insurance is the freelancer's responsibility. Neither Storyhunters nor commissioning editors can be held accountable for loss or damage of equipment.

Storyhunter does provide insurance for freelancers reporting from specific countries depending on the threat of conflict. In a few cases, some countries are so dangerous that we make it a requirement. If you're on assignment in a conflict zone, please get in touch with our support team make sure you're covered.
