There are a couple of ways in which you can add documents and photos to a project. This can come in handy for any set guidelines for freelancers, extra legals, release form templates, photo stills of the production, etc.
Adding Company Assets
In order to add these files, go to your "Company Profile" page.
Within your Company Profile page, select Assets tab from under your company name.
This will take you to the company library where you can upload documents that you will use regularly while hiring through Storyhunter. Just hid Add File at the bottom of the page to upload a file.
You can delete a file by clicking the ellipsis symbol on the right-hand side and selecting Delete.
Adding Project Assets
In order to attach files to a project all you need to do is to go to the project view and click the Files tab.
- Select Add Existing File if you wish to attach something that you have already uploaded within your company library.
- Select Add New Files if you wish to add something that isn't in your company library.
You can delete a file by clicking the trash can symbol on the right-hand side.
Uploading a Company Contract
There are a few options for providing alternative legals to the Independent Contractor Service Agreement, the default contract for all projects on the Storyhunter platform:
One-Off Legal
If this is a "one-off" for a specific project, we recommend putting together a new contract off platform and uploading it into the "Assets" tab for the freelancer to download, sign, and re-upload. Any contracts that are put in place through this process automatically override the Independent Contractor Service Contract that is electronically singed by freelancers upon their acceptance of a project.
Regularly Used Legal
Alternatively, if you have a contract that you will use for many of your projects on the Storyhunter platform, we can input this in place of the Independent Contractor Service Agreement. It is possible to upload more than one contract and switch between them on a project-to-project basis.
If you are looking to carry this out, please get in touch with our support team, either by submitting your request here, or by emailing support@storyhunter.com.
You can read more about adding custom contracts and how to use them here.
